Document Description
The proposed project consists of an update to the South San Francisco General Plan's Circulation Element. The proposed update includes a revision of goals, principles, and policies addressing the concept of "Complete Streets". The Complete Streets GPA would include edits and additions to existing text and policies in various sections of the Transportation Element. Together, these amendments integrate the objectives of the Complete Streets GPA into the City's long-term planning framework. The amendments provide a policy framework design to support implementation of Complete Streets concepts, including integrating Complete Streets infrastructure and design features into street design and construction projects and to make Complete Streets practices a routine part of South San Francisco's everyday operations.
