Document Description
The project includes removing a failed culvert crossing, installing a roughened channel fish passage structure, enhancing riparian vegetation, and installing California freshwater shrimp habitat structures. The project will result in impacts to California freshwater shrimp habitat including temporary impacts to 9,000 sf; the project will permanently remove 17 linear ft of California freshwater shrimp habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of California freshwater shrimp, which is designated as an endangered species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of project implementation.
