The project is an update to the General Plan Housing Element. The 2014-2019 Housing Element addresses housing issues and policies in the Town of Truckee. It includes an assessment of the previous Housing Element, a profile of characteristics of existing and projected population, employment, and housing stock, a housing needs analysis, a discussion of housing constraints, an analysis and inventory of residential land resources, quantified objectives for housing, guiding principles, and goals, policies, programs, and implementation. The 2014-2019 Housing Element will apply town-wide.
