Document Description
The Project entails the design and construction of a new middle school on the site of the existing Earl Warren Middle School. The new middle school would serve the current students of Earl Warren Middle School and would include sixteen classrooms, a new administration building, a new food service building, a multi-purpose/athletic building, an art building with a courtyard, a new music building with an adjoining performance stage, four science classrooms, a new Warren Hall, and an area to allow for an additional four relocatable classrooms to provide flexibility for enrollment and program. An additional 56 parking spaces would be added to the existing 76 parking spaces for a total of 132 parking stalls. An interim campus would be constructed to supplement the existing campus that would be displaced by construction. This interim campus would consist of 31 relocatable classrooms, three restroom buildings, one administration building, one student support building, two multi-purpose buildings, and one food service building. The project site is located on the southwest corner of Lomas Santa Fe and Stevens Avenue in the City of Solana Beach, situated on approximately 20 acres.
