The project is the execution and implementation of a water transfer agreement, which identifies the sources, quantities, and delivery schedules for existing Madera Irrigation District water supplies to be periodically transferred from MID to Madera Valley, LLC, MID would supply MV with water from a variety of potential sources. Water would be used for agriculture or groundwater recharge only. Water purchased by MV or other authorized parties at the points of delivery which may include turnouts from the Madera Canal, the Friant-Kern Canal and at locations where Reclamation make Recirculation Water available to MID.
