Document Description
The proposed Cool Valley Photovoltaic Solar Generating Project involves the installation of 416-516 solar panels on ground mounted fixed plane racks in rows covering a .5-.75 acre area of the Cool Valley Reservoir site. The construction area is located adjacent to the existing pump station building. It is relatively flat, graded and comprised of fill material. The solar panels would be connected to an existing meter box located along the north wall of the pump station building via conduit located in an underground trench. The project would off-set electricity costs associated with operating the Cool Valley Reservoir mixing and circulation pump and two new Rincon pumps that will be relocated to the Cool Valley Reservoir site. Surplus electricity would be metered back to San Diego Gas & Electric through an electrical distribution system interconnect.
