Document Description
The Project involves three areas of improvements along the upper Arroyo Seco. Area 1 includes demolition of the damaged existing headworks structure and creation of habitat restoration and a rest area/picnic area; Area 2 includes removal of the damaged existing intake structure and construction of a new diversion and wier structure and improvements to the Gabrielino Trail/access road; Area 3 includes creation of a parking lot for recreational users, reconfiguration and expansion of existing spreading basins, restrooms, and a guard house. The new intake would divert additional water during high-flows into the spreading basins for groundwater replenishment.
