Document Description
The proposed project is for the closure of the wastewater pre-treatment facility (WWPT) at the National Beef California, LP beef processing plant in Brawley, CA. In May 2014, National Beef ceased all beef processing at its Brawley facility. The WWTP system has and will continue to operate at decreasing levels during the approximately four-year Closure Project until it is complete. The Project does not include any new construction or the installation of any new process or control equipment.
