Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. The Pinon Pines Estates Mutual Water Company proposes to construct and operate a fluoride, manganese, and iron removal plant utilizing four filter units using an activate alumina adsorption media housed within a building. Pinon Pines Estates MWC also proposes the installation of a 212,000 gallon bolted steel water storage tank, drilling a groundwater production well, and installing pipeline and a power cable. This is to advise that SWRCB has conditionally approved a grant for the project described above (subject to availability) in the estimated amount of $477,500 from Section 75022, Proposition 84, The Safe Drinking Water, Water Quality and Supply, Flood Control, River and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2006.
