Document Description
The Urban Greening Project seeks to develop a 3.8 acre shaded linear parkway along the banks of an irrigation canal. The project includes planting more than 1,000 native trees and shrubs, constructing a walking trail on both sides of the canal, installing interpretive signs and straw-bale benches with three natural-appearing rain gardens for water quality enhancement and for recharge of the aquifer.
