Swim Beach Pressure Reducing Valve Installation
NOE - Notice of Exemption
This project will install a pressure reducing valve (PRV) on the main water line to the swim beach area in Clear Lake State Park to prevent additional water line breaks by reducing and controlling water pressure coming from the uphill water tank. The water main is located down the center of the main park road and the PRV will be installed next to the concrete island at the entrance to the swim beach.
Maintenance or minor alterations of existing facilities, involving negligible expansion of use beyond current levels; construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; and the minor public alteration in the condition of land which does not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees, included as "utility repair or minor upgrades" on the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR 15300.4.
