Document Description
Inland Empire District has no appropriate collections storage within the district. Museum, archaeological, and archival collections are currently stored in closets, offices, and transport containers. None of these are rodent-proof or temperature controlled. The district is in need of a central, climate- controlled, pest-resistant facility in which to store irreplaceable collections. The district will puchase a retrofitted insulated shipping container with HVAC unit for secure storage. It will be installed on an existing trailer pad with full utilities in the Perris residential loop, hooked up to existing electricity, and install alarm system.
