An approximately 0.7 acre upland area adjacent to the pond will be used to dewater and temporarily store sediment excavated from the pond. This site is located on land owned by the City of Los Angeles. Upland vegetation will be cleared and pushed to the side to create a square bermed area to store the sediment.
