Dickson Acquisition Anza-Borrego State Park
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The project will acquire two parcels totaling approximately 10 acres of land approximately 8.5 miles southeast of the town of Borrego Springs in exchange for an encroachment by a private property owner elsewhere in Anza-Borrego State Park. The parcels are in-holdings located in an area known as the Anza-Borrego Badlands. The area is desert land and climate with steep hills and washouts. This action will help preserve the beauty of the area, open apace and habitat.
Acquisition of land by California State Parks for the purpose of providing an opportunity to preserve open space and habitat.
