Document Description
Plant up to 23 native trees at the east parking lot, along a portion of the San Francisco Bay rail and along the South Regatta Drive feeder trail to the Bay Trail, by the PG&E substation. The trees are a combination of Quercus agrifolia (coast live oak) and Aescelus californica (Buckeye). The trees will provide shade, screen views of incompatible land uses and sequester carbon.

Consists of minor public or private alteration in the condition of land, water and/or vegetation which do not remove health, mature, or scenic trees. This project will add new trees to the landscape at suitable locations for their growth, the trees will be propagated consistent with the State's Genetic Integrity Policy, and will not conflict with the General Plan policy to maintain Benicia State Recreation Area's open quality and scenic vistas across the wetlands and San Pablo Bay.
