Document Description
Remove conifers encroaching on the coastal prairie habitat of the federally threatened Oregon silverspot butterfly (Speyeria zerene hippolyta) (OSB) at Tolowa Dunes State Park to maintain the successional stage of dune vegetation which provides essential habitat for the butterfly. The project is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Arcata Fish and Wildlife Office to help support recovery of the OSB.
