Document Description
The project consists of repairing scour damage to a bridge abutment and supporting berm within the San Diego MTS right-of-way adjacent to the southeast corner of the parking lot at Qualcomm Stadium. The proposed repairs include construction of concrete retaining walls, a concrete cutoff wall, placement of fill in the scoured area, placement of rock slope protection (riprap), and asphalt paving of the damaged parking lot. The bottom of the scoured and eroded hole is currently bare gravel and cobble. The entire scoured and eroded area will be filled and replaced with rip rap. The project site is located adjacent to the San Diego River. It is also within the 100 year flood plan.
