Document Description
Project proposed involves the renovation of an underutilized courtyard within the Mission Bay Housing complex on Block 20 at the Mission Bay Campus site. The existing courtyard consists of terraced concrete walls with a traditional lawn at the center. Presently, the students walk across the lawn and precariously climb over concrete walls to access the exit gates at the edge of the courtyard. The new plan would remove the walls and replace them with walks and steps, and lighting. A patio with proposed natural boulder seating would provide a gathering space for the students and their families. The lawn would be replaced with native and drought tolerant plants.
