Document Description
The proposed project would renovate approximately 2,142 ASF of recently released University Hospital Tower basement space to provide a computerized tomography (CT) preparation space to improve patient throughput, family consultation room for private discussion with patients and families, clean utility room, immediate-intervention radiology reading room, additional workspace for staff, and outpatient and family waiting room. The project would also renovate and upgrade existing restrooms, and provide ADA code-compliant staff restrooms. The project would utilize existing corridor walls, but would also include the construction of new interior walls, electrical, low voltage, HVAC, doors, plumbing for restrooms, flooring, and paint. The project is scheduled for completion in Jan. 2015.
