Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0164-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Caltrans. Project is limited to three geotechnical borings at three locations on/and adjacent to Dry Creek Bridge and the overflow structure. borings will be 50 to 100 feet in depth and will be located at the creek abutments and the creek bed as shown in the drilling plan submitted with the Notification. Two of the locations will be accessed through an unvegetated existing gravelly track and the third location will be accessed from the deck of the overflow structure. After project completion the boreholes will be backfilled with bentonite chips. The maximum boring diameter will be 5 inches resulting in a maximum total impact area of 1.65 sq. ft. Implementation of the project will not result in vegetation removal. work will take place only if no water is present in Dry Creek.
