Document Description
State agreement of an underground easement with San Diego Gas & Electric Company for the Friars Substation Reliability Project involves replacing one steel pole with a steel cable pole equivalent in height, trenching about 600 feet to intercept an existing underground cable duct package and removing about 900 feet of overhead wire. The proposed underground easement is within the existing SDG&E overhead easement for electric transmission and distribution, telephone, and communications located in the paved parking area of Mission Valley State Building. The project will improve reliability of the infrastructure. In performing the work, SDG&E will take all reasonable measures to restore the gorund surface as near the same condition as it was prior to start of activities.
