Paramount Farming Company (Paramount) is a landowner who has farm operations in both KCWA's and WWD's service areas. Paramount and Semitropic Water Storage District (SWSD), a member unit of KCWA, agreed to a water exchange to facilitate Paramount's same landowner transfer to WWD's service area. This will be accomplished by in-lieu exchange. DWR will deliver up to 3,000 acre-feet of KCWA's 2013 and/or 2014 approved SWP Table A water to WWD's turnouts in Reaches 4 to 7 of the CA Aqueduct, and in exchange KCWA's member unit, SWSD, will retain a like amount of Paramount's CV{ water previously stored in KCWA's service area.
