Document Description
The proposed project is the National City Wayfinding Signage Program, including a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the SDUPD and City of National City (City) to fund the program with funds from the SDUPD's Maritime Terminal Impact Fund (MTIF). The MOU specifies the terms and conditions of payment to the City for the City's Installation of various wayfinding signage to direct National City visitors and residents to key City visitors and residents to key attractions, amenities, and features located on, or adjacent to, SDUPD tidelands. The project would also help to enhance urban design, reinforce community identity; reduce confusion for drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists; improve access for SDUPD tenants; improve land use compatibility with roadway network; and improve traffic flow and enhance safety.
