Fort Tejon Barracks Exit Signs
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The project will place three standard exit signs in the area for the Environmental Living History program area or "Barracks Rooms". The project was initiated at the behest of a routine fire inspection by Kern County Fire Marshalls. Since the area is used for sleeping during the Environmental Living History Programs (student programs), the Fire Marshall Office stated that exit signs must be posted to comply with the health and safety codes.
No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated in compliance with Section 15300.2. If the project is implemented as indicated within the CDPR Project Evaluation Form including measures provided by CDPR specialists, then it is exempt under CEQA 15331-Historical Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation.
