Document Description
Replace existing dilapidated walkway with weather resistant accessible walkway at Calaveras Big Trees State Park's residence to provide safe access around facilities. Work will remove 416' L x' W X 3" walkway; excavate 3" of soil and reroute walkway to avoid damaging tree roots; install expansion joints every 4', 1/2" steel bar and steel intersections; and pour 5" of concrete throughout walkway prism. Extracted concrete will be disposed of by a certified recycler. Extracted soil will be hauled to the maintenance yard for future use.
