Document Description
DFD staff will remove vegetation, by mowing and weed eating, to provide access to a site where DWR seismic meters are located. Access to the site is directly off Scott Creek Road, one-half mile east of I-680. The approximately 395 foot long by 20 foot wide access road will be mowed to the creek crossing, located approximately 250 feet from Scott Creek Road. Tree limbing may need to be done at this crossing. Tree limbs will only be trimmed along the entry area under the tree canopy. Material will be removed from site or chipped in place. The site will be mowed from the power line (power poles due south along the road) to the ridge line, including the hillside to the east. The area of acreage to be cleared is approximately 5.8 acres. There will be no equipment staging outside of the footprint.
