Document Description
The Emergency Water Supply Project was developed in response to the exceptional drought in order to avoid potentially disastrous consequences from not having adequate water for health, safety, sanitation, and fire protection. The Project is being designed and constructed to treat brackish water using advanced treatment technologies, which will recharge the CCSD's San Simeon existing well field aquifer.Through this groundwater augmentation, the Project will provide 250-acre foot of water supply to Cambria over a six dry-month period.
