Document Description
CDFW is proposing to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2013-0253-R5. The Applicant proposes to mitigate for impacts associated with the development of the Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills Master Plan, SAA 1600-2010-0351-R5, with six acres of preservation, restoration and enhancement. This will be done b removing trash, historic debris and non-native species as well as installing rock check dams and planting the streams with native plant species. Within a 6.2 acre area, the core objective of the planting plan is to establish scattered oak trees, sycamore trees, Mexican elderberry trees, Fremont's cottonwood trees, arroyo willow trees, scalebroom and mulefat. A broadcast seeding of native shrubs and herbaceous species will also occur. Within two streams 53 check dams will be installed.
