Document Description
Project consists of the design and construction of 135 linear feet of sidewalk infill segment along the frontage of 9750 Waterman Road in the city of Elk Grove. The purpose is to improve the safety and accessibility, and to provide for continuous path of pedestrian travel, along the 9700 block of Waterman Road. The Project site is in a highly urbanized area and is surrounded by residential uses. Right-of-way will be acquired from the property owner by the City of Elk Grove. The Project will require removal of 16 trees, including valley oaks. The Project will comply with the City of Elk Grove Tree Ordinance. Existing trees will be surveyed for nesting birds prior to project construction, pursuant to the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
