Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) has issued an emergency permit to Naturex to treat hazardous waste by chemical stabilization. This item is heat, friction and shock sensitive and may be highly reactive and should be chemically stabilized as a safety precaution prior to being transported offsite. The item is expired and is currently being stored inside a hazardous waste storage area located at 3856 Dividen Drive, Shingle Springs, CA 95682. The treatment of this item will be carried out by Clean Harbor Environmental Services (CHES) and involves the addition of solvent to the container to reduce the reactive characteristic of the chemical.
