Document Description
In accordance with general plan action LU3.E (development of a specific plan in the Southern Gateway Change Area to merge existing and proposed development into a mixed use community including education, research and development, light industrial, residential and other sensitive uses), the specific plan addresses an area known as the Southern Shoreline. The specific plan documents the long term vision and proposes detailed recommendations for the plan area, and its planning framework and objectives would regulate development related decisions in the plan area until 2045 and beyond. The development standards within the specific plan would establish the zoning regulations for the plan area. The specific plan is designed to be consistent with the South Richmond PDA established under Plan Bay Area.
