Document Description
The diversion to storage (appropriation) of up to 156.7 acre-feet of water from Burton Creek and 2 unnamed tributaries thereto, and approximately 78.5 acres of earthmoving and clearing activities of gently to moderately sloping annual grassland (+/-78.3 acres) and Oak woodland (+/-0.2acres) for the: i) construction of one new off stream water storage reservoir with a capacity of up to 73.2 acre ft; ii) enlargement of two existing on stream water storage reservoirs with a current capacity of 65 acre ft up to a total capacity of approximately 114.5 acre ft; and iii) the installation of erosion control measures and infrastructure associated with an approximate 69.4 acre vineyard development project (+/-51.1 net/planted acres). Typical slopes within the project area range from 3% to 29% with an average slope of 10.5%. The project applicant has prepared an Agricultural Erosion Control Plan (ECPA) as required by Napa County Code.
