Document Description
The CA DFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0226-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, County of Lake - Department of Public Works. The County proposes to replace the existing timber structure (Bridge No. 14C-0083) Ackley Rd. Bridge over Manning Creek due to its poor historic hydraulic performance and deteriorated state. The existing Ackley Rd Bridge over Manning Creek consists of a single span timber stringer deck bridge measuring ~23 feet long and 25 feet wide. The bridge railing, composed of timber posts and railing, has deteriorated and is in need of replacement. The project will involve a modification or alteration of the streambed. The banks will be widened at the bridge location to allow flood flows to pass without overtopping the bridge.
