The CA DFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0227-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, County of Lake - Department of Public Works. The project consists of removing an existing bridge on Highland Springs Road (CR 412) over Highland Creek and building a new bridge at a location upstream of the existing bridge. The new bridge will be constructed north of the existing bridge on a new alignment. Installation of the new bridge will require new imported fill. The project will be removing vegetation including white alders and eight mature oak trees. Additionally, ~100 cubic yards of creek bank material, installing ~1300 cubic yards of new imported fill and placing ~500 cubic yards of rock slope protection (RSP).
