Document Description
Note: 1 HC The City of East Palo Alto is preparing a comprehensive update and revision to its 1999 General Plan and its Zoning Code which, together, will serve as a blueprint to guide the City's vision (also known as "Vista 2035") for its long-term land use and development. The General Plan Update process has been designed to: respond to socioeconomic and demographic changes; encourage community members to express their values and create a common vision for the City's future; update policies for land use, community design, transportation, infrastructure, and quality of life; prioritize community health and equity; provide policies for the Westside of the City; and address major concerns such as affordable housing, risk and flooding, and infrastructure deficiencies.
