The Weitchpec Slips Project (01-0B440) consists of roadway stabilization and repairs on SR 169 in Humboldt County from post mile (PM) 26.4 to 29.9. The repairs are needed due to damage from a series of slipouts and a slide that occurred as a result of the March 2011 storm event. The slide and slipouts are located at PM 26.45, 29.04 and 29.8. Slipouts at PM 26.45 and 29.04 are both located on the downhill side of the roadway. The slide and slipout damage at PM 29.8 is on both the uphill and downhill sides of the roadway.
