Document Description
This project involves creation of California tiger salamander (CTS; Ambystoma californiense) breeding pools and road crossings, creation of low mounded areas in the uplands, removal of existing culvert, fencing, gates, and asphalt driveway, and other activities. The Project will result in impacts to 0.95 acres of CTS habitat including temporary impacts to 0.92 acres and permanent removal of 0.03 acres. The Project is expected to result in incidental take of CTS, which is designated as a threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation. Amendment 1 extended the ITP expiration date from December 31, 2016 to December 31, 2018. Amendment 2 extended the ITP expiration date from December 31, 2018 to December 31, 2020. Amendment 3 modified the Grading and Clearing work period, modifies the performance security amounts to reflect the 1.9 acres of Habitat Management land required by the ITP, and corrects the restoration of on-site temporary effects acreage. Amendment 4 extended the ITP expiration date from December 31, 2020 to December 31, 2022. The current amendment, Amendment 5, transfers the ITP from Ms. Joy Kane to Mr. Charles Traboulsi and extends the ITP expiration date from December 31, 2022 to December 31, 2024.
