Document Description
The proposed RE Garland Solar Project would develop a photovoltaic solar facility and associated infrastructure necessary to generate 200 megawatts (MW) of renewable electrical energy. The RE Garland solar facilities would be built in four phases (Phase 1, 20 MW; Phase 2, 30 MW; Phase 3, 70 MW; Phase 4, 80 MW) to generate a total of 200 MW. A 220 kV generation tie-in line (gen-tie) would interconnect the solar facilities with the future shared RE Astoria Switchyard at Gaskell Road and 215th Street West, that ultimately connects to the nearby Southern California Edison (SCE) owned Whirlwind Substation. The overall area for the facility is approximately 2,057 acres.
