Document Description
On October 21, 2014, the City Council of the City of Covina adopted a Mitigated Negative Declaration and a Mitigation Monitoring Program for the 635 South Citrus Avenue Project. The Project entails the conversion of an existing car rental facility (Enterprise Rent-A-Car) to a car dealership. This conversion would involve modifications to the project site and to the existing commercial building on the site. The existing building footprint would be expanded by approximately 8,777 square feet and the building height would be raised by approximately 6 feet. The Project would be developed over two phases; Phase 1 would involve construction and operation of temporary dealership facilities and Phase 2 would involve construction and operation of the permanent dealership facilities. During construction, four temporary trailers would be places at the southeast end of the existing surface parking lot. The existing surface parking lot would be replayed and the existing landscaping would generally remain in place.
