Document Description
The City of La Palma adopted a new zoning overlay district entitled "Freeway Overlay District (FO)" to allow for the construction of pole signs and billboards on land adjacent to and abutting SR 91 right-of-way within city boundaries. The ordinance repealed and replaced Chapter 44 Article III, Division 5 of the La Palma City Code, and add a Section 44-137(h). The freeway overlay district encompasses fourteen separate parcels and traverses both the north and south sides of SR-91 in the City of La Palma. The overlay area is located approximately 18 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles at the northern boundary of Orange County.
