Document Description
The trail segment is intended to provide important secondary, non-vehicular access to Pajaro Valley High School from Airport Boulevard. The trail would parallel Highway 1, trending southeastward for the initial portion, then generally head south/southeastward to its ultimate intersection with Harkins Slough Road. Portions of the trail would traverse private ownerships which would require an easement for purposes of access; however, the majority of lands affected by the trail are under the ownership of the City of Watsonville. A limited portion of the trail alignment would cross lands within the County of Santa Cruz. Acquisition of lands and/or an easement on private and public property would therefore be required for portions of the trail alignment.
