Document Description
The heating and ventilations units in Dorms A & B at FWF will be replaced. The existing units have exceeded their normal operational life cycle, have extensive corrosion in the water collecting pans, the heat exchangers need to be replaced and cannot be controlled using a Program Logic Controller because the units' control panels are no longer operational. The project includes removal of existing heating and ventilation equipment, minor roof modifications to accommodate new equipment, including mounting hardware, supply and return air ducting, natural gas supply, electrical power connection, and control wiring.
This project is necessary to maintain the buildings at FWF and to ensure unimpeded operations fo the facility and its public safety mission.
