Document Description
SWRCB is a responsible agency for this project. The Board's Public Water System Drought Emergency Funding Program is providing state funds for the project. The City of Coalinga proposes to identify other available surface water sources that could be purchased to supplement the USSR allocation. The City has also entered into discussions with USBR to identify any additional supplies that can be allocated to the City of Coalinga to supplement the 50% allocation. An estimated 1000 AF of additional supply is needed to meet anticipated demand through the water year, which ends February 28, 2015. A combination of purchased water and increased USSR allocation will be needed to meet this need.
