SWRCB is a responsible agency for this project. The board's Public Water System Drought Emergency Funding Program is providing state funds for the project. The City of Porterville proposes to connect East Vandalia Water District to the City's water system. In addition to paying the City's impact fees, the project consists of the installation of a 4 inch water service, master meter, and backflow prevention device. In addition, onsite improvements need to be completed to connect East Vandalia's existing distribution system to the City's distribution system.
