Document Description
The proposed project is the Maritime Museum - Festival of Sail, which will take place along North Harbor Drive over the course of four days from August 29, 2014 through September 1, 2014. The District will provide sponsorship in the form of District funding and services for the event, the largest tall ship festival on the west coast. The event will transform the North Embarcadero into a nautical theme park for four days. The event will kick off with a tall ship parade on Thursday August 28, 2014; tall ships will be welcomed with several rounds of cannon fire as they sail into San Diego Bay.
