Document Description
A large concrete drainage structure that was cast into the shore zone many years ago is proposed for removal and disposal at a refuse disposal site located outside the Lake Tahoe Basin. The old concrete structure has already partially decomposed and is broken up into several pieces. The structure will be broken up into additional smaller pieces to the extent necessary to load them onto amphilbious water craft and then floated over to a harbor where they will be transferred into dump trucks. The volume of debris is estimated to be about 16 cubic yards. The dump trucks will haul the concrete and any other debris associated with the old existing drainage structure out of the Tahoe Basin.
