A request from JMA Ventures to the County to determine whether proposed revisions resulting from a setttlement agreement between Homewood Village Resorts, LLC (HVR), the Friends of the West Shore and the Tahoe Area Sierra Club executed on January 27, 2014 are in substantial compliance with the HSAMP conditions of approval as listed in the 2011 Conditional Use Permit. The revisions would reduce the number of residential by thirteen (13) units. Seven (7) residential units were eliminated from the North Base area and six (6) residential units were eliminated from the South Base area; reduce the size of all facility floor areas at mid-mountain to no more than 30,000 sq, ft., inclusive of the mid-mountain lodge and the mid-mountain maintenance facility and require an additional 44,000 square feet of coverage to be permanently retired; in addition to the 178,000 sq. ft. of coverage already required to be retired.
The action performed by the County is a determination as to whether the HSAMP revisions are in substantial conformance with the existing approved vesting tentative map of 2011 and in substatial compliance with the conditions of approval as listed in the 2011 Conditional Use Permit.
