Document Description
The project is limited to the grading of a 2:1 stream bank slope, installing Live Willow Brush Layering and Willow Stakes on the lower to mid portion bank of the stream and completing a Riparian Revegetation Plan from the mid to upper portion of the stream bank. The project will affect approximately 110-linear foot of stream bank and require the excavation of 365-cubic yards of material in order to establish a stable 2:1 slope. Excavation will begin approximately 3.5 to 7-feet from the edge of the water and proceed backwards to establish the new slope. Shallow trenches will be excavated within the stream bank and filled with live willow cuttings. Fiber roll will then be installed over the project site. Native vegetation will then be planted along the mid to upper bank. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0223-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
