NOE - Notice of Exemption
CDFW is proposing to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2013-0176-R5. The Applicant proposes the restoration of areas along Santa Paula Creek and to conduct future project and routine maintenance activities. Each revegetation areas consists of an average 50 sq. ft. area where these areas will be restored by cleaning up the area, addressing potential erosion, and re-vegetation with native species. There are also a number of new projects proposed over the next several years within the property that are, for the most part, located away from the stream and consist of minor impacts to native upland vegetation. Maintenance activities include two existing public trails within the stream corridor, the dismantling of any small man-made dams within the flowing portion of the stream, routine tree and vegetation trimming in compliance with local fire department requirements and an annual trimming of trees and brush located along any trails, pathways, roads, and other associated structures.
