Document Description
Replace an existing, non-code compliant, non-historic comfort stattion in Calaveras Big Trees State Park to reduce maintenance costs and comply with current building and access codes. Work will excavate an approximately 19.8'L x 19'W x 5"D area to remove the existing foundation, lay base rock and pour a new concrete foundation. A prefabricated building will be placed on the new pad. Additional work will relocate water and electrical stub-out connections to accommodate the new utility connections, and excavate two areas approximately 16'L x 3.5'W x 4"D and 3'W x 23'L x 5"D to install a new concrete sidewalk.
